What Is the Most Common Sexual Health Problem in Men?
21 September 2026
Is There a Definitive Solution for Premature Ejaculation?
7 October 2026Patient Profile
- 40 years old
- Diabetic
- Has been experiencing severe erectile dysfunction for approximately 4-5 years.
Treatment Plan
We will place a three-piece inflatable penile prosthesis in our patient.
These prostheses provide a result that closely resembles a natural erection and are not noticeable from the outside.
Prosthesis Selection and Infection Risk
Because our patient is diabetic, the issue we pay particular attention to is prosthesis infection.
To reduce this risk as much as possible, we selected an antimicrobial-coated prosthesis model that can expand both in width and length.
Surgical Process
During the surgery, we wash the prosthesis and the surgical area with antibiotic solutions.
At the same time, we use the no-touch technique and prevent the prosthesis from coming into contact with the skin as much as possible.
By applying a meticulous surgical technique and keeping the operation time as short as possible, we aim to reduce the risk of infection to the lowest possible level.
Postoperative Follow-up
After the surgery, we also need to closely monitor our patient for infection.

Surgical Outcome
We have completed the surgery. We successfully placed the three-piece inflatable penile prosthesis.
At the end of the surgery, we inflated the prosthesis and checked both its function and position. No problems are visible.
We will monitor the patient in the hospital tonight. Tomorrow morning, after completing our final checks, if we do not see any problems, we hope to discharge our patient safely tomorrow.
